What this website collects

When you request an invite, your email and, if you add them, your name, your company and what you’d use Sinsajo for. We also store the country the request came from, as reported by Cloudflare, to plan beta batches.

What we use it for

We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

Beta downloads and support

If you use a private beta invitation, we keep the email the link was made for, how many times it was used and when. The public Mac download does not require an invitation. We also keep support emails you send us, with the log if you choose to attach it. The log says what the app did and names files; it never holds recordings or transcripts. We use this to run the beta and fix what goes wrong. The legal basis is the beta you asked to join. It is kept until the beta ends, or until you ask us to delete it.

Analytics and cookies

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to count visits and invite requests and see which pages help. We never send it your email or anything you type. Google signals, ad features and detailed location and device data are turned off, and event data is kept for 2 months. Google may process this data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you don’t accept, nothing is sent to Google Analytics. Each cookie is listed in our cookie policy.

Our pages also load their fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them and sets no cookies.

Where it’s stored and for how long

In a database at Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Each request is also emailed to the studio’s inbox so we can answer it. Both are kept until the beta ends or you ask us to delete your data, and deleting covers both.

Sinsajo account and included AI

Sinsajo requires an account. Sign in with one of the providers available in the app; the first sign-in creates your Sinsajo account. With a valid saved session, local recording and transcription remain available offline until that session expires. We receive your account identifier, name and email when provided, to identify you and enforce service limits. This sign-in grants no access to your calendar, Drive, OneDrive or SharePoint and does not share meetings with anyone.

Included AI uses Anthropic’s Claude models through our Cloudflare server. To generate notes, it receives the transcript, the selected calendar meeting’s title and attendee names when available, and relevant text recognized locally from the video, with timestamps. Calendar email addresses are excluded from this added naming context. Questions about meetings also include your question and context from the recordings consulted. We do not send audio or video to Anthropic. Text processing may take place outside the European Union under Anthropic’s API service terms.

Our server does not store request content or generated responses. It keeps your identity, protected sessions, usage counters, credit reservations and operation metadata to enforce budgets, avoid duplicates and protect the service. We retain these records while you keep your account; you can request deletion using the contact below. The basis for processing is providing the service you activate. Signing out removes the session from your Mac and requests server revocation. The Anthropic API key exists only on the server; your personal Sinsajo session is kept in the macOS Keychain.

The app and storage

When you connect a calendar, Sinsajo can keep the selected meeting’s title and attendee names and email addresses locally to identify your recordings. These contact fields are not included in team uploads. For contact images, the app requests public avatars from Gravatar using a SHA-256 email hash and company favicons from DuckDuckGo using the company domain. Those providers also receive the network information needed to serve the image; an email hash is not anonymous. Meeting content and calendar tokens are not sent in these image requests. Images are cached on your Mac, and missing images use initials.

Recordings, transcripts and history are stored on your Mac. Advanced settings let you choose your own Claude Code or Codex account to process text under that provider’s terms. Sinsajo does not automatically switch included AI to a personal account when credits run out.

If your team sets up storage, recordings are uploaded there: your team’s own bucket or, for a Sinsajo workspace, DigitalOcean in Frankfurt (EU), accessible only to your team’s members. By default only recordings marked as shared are uploaded; Upload all recordings in the team settings enables uploading them all. Without team storage, audio and video never leave your Mac.
